Warhammer TV just released a video of Duncan, their studio painter, painting a mysterious "Gyrinx" It's a Rogue Trader era Eldar 'Spell-Familiar' of sorts. It's a little teaser because the thing is on a massive base. People are speculating it's either Yriel or Iyanna Arienal (a 3.5 edition special character) in some new beast form ala Cawl and Celestine. I am so excited. A lot of people are speculating Exodites too, which are Eldar Farmers essentially that ran away from society before the Fall and live on planets with huge beasts they tame. Cannot wait for this, if they're sneak peeking it now, can only assume a full preview in Warhammer Community soon.
Its on a medium oval base, like the Beast of Phodia carnifex model and the drakoth knights from AoS.
So hot take: is it more likely to be something bestial or something riding a small monster than something boring like a jetbike? Or are we going to see something like a Yriel Avatar type deal?

People have been speculating an Exodite Character - which yes, would be riding a dinosaur or dragon. They were in the 2nd edition book (where Will's pic is from) as a playable unit.
I don't *think* that would be the character to have a Gyrinx. In the current art where there are Gryinxi, they were with Craftworlders or Corsairs. But man you never know, Games Workshop is cray cray right now.
Rumor mill has, as been mentioned, both Yriel and Iyanna as well as Ynnead names thrown around. There was also that rumor of a Psychic Wraithknight or Wraith Constuct, which some have speculated is Iyanna rebuilt as a half eldar check half Wraith monster. That's kind of my far fetched guess on this model.

Here they come.... Looks like an aggressive release schedule will continue If the rumors are true, GW has to get all of the "gathering storm" stuff out before summer so they can do the Campaign and lead into 8th edition. Makes sense that they have been rolling the releases out fast as a result. |

Yeah its looking like all the AoS tzeentch stuff will be out next week, with the LOC coming the week after on the 28th, then we have the Horus Heresy Weekender Feb 4th, with some big releases (thousand sons rules finally!), and then my bet would be the next week, Feb 11th, for preorders for the next gathering storm campaign/models.

That warp table looks pretty cool but also looks like it will be a pain to play in normal games.
