Eldar, Dark Eldar and Harlequins FAQs/erratas are out. Of note they decided to nerf warp spiders to only one flicker jump a turn.

That makes some sense honestly, people should have seen that one coming. Also of note, the swooping hawks can use their skyleap to arrive by deep strike the next turn, even if they didn't originally deep strike onto the board - so despite their grenade nerf, that makes them a bit more viable.
Wish we would have gotten a more specific Wave Serpent decision in terms of *where* the serpent shield originates from, but I think the most logical point of origin is likely right near where the driver sits, on the middle front of the hull.

It was a no brainer. Good decision. Though I'm kind of blown away they didn't address the Hawks movement phase Intercept Grenade attack.
BTW selling all my Warp Shitters $1 each, totally useless now. PM me suckers

The clarified coordinated firepower now, which is nice. No more Buffmander to the whole army. The Tanks running over a Stormsurge thing was rather fun though.

This is a good FAQ, makes sense, is fair, and doesn't totally nerf tau or buff them. I'm going to be adding chain snares to my raiders it seems when facing Tau!
The only thing that bugs me is the banshee mask clarification - I get the Going to Ground clarification, but banshee masks are supposed to disorient models being charged; if the supporting fire units are all treated as if they were being charged, shouldn't it still work?
I still just think that supporting fire is too powerful lol but maybe that's because all my armies are T3 5+/6+ saves...

I'm really happy they clarified a lot of things with Tau, if only to end arguments before every game about coordinated firepower. It was just so poorly written when it came out.
Also good that they mentioned that you have to declare jink before the Tau player announces what markerlights will be used for. Also happy to see a mention about seeker missiles versus zooming flyers (pg5), although I don't totally agree with their decision (I think if the markerlight, which already had to be a snapshot, hits a zooming flyer, then the seeker missile should hit at BS5).
Really love that a 35pt tank can completely take out a stormsurge. Can't wait.
I think the banshee mask is an interesting choice. I guess I can see it lore-wise going either way. Regardless, you'd think if one unit was scared, the rest would be scared, too. Maybe the buddies say "sucks for them. I'm not getting charged" and can fire anyway. Regardless, seems like that's a significant game-changer for the banshee mask versus Tau.
Glad to see that a lot of the rules that were just on the confusing side were spelled out. Tau can be confusing with its multi-trackers, interceptor, buddy-overwatch, sometimes happening at the same time.

Though it did say you can still use green tide formation from the old Ghazghkull codex. So I imagine that doubleback will be pleased.
