PS battlescribe has been on the money, and already has all the points/rules for these and the rangers/vanguard and walkers in their app. I'm already starting to see a phenomenally fun force take shape.
Completely unrelated note, anybody want some chaos dwarves and half my nids?

The battlescribe database is open sourced, so its just someone who has been following the rumors and put it into the main catalog.

I really, REALLY love the ruststalkers. They're fast, hit like a ton of bricks in combat (and are AP2 after the first round), and have CC haywire...which is my all time favorite thing ever, since haywyches came out of my life last october. I can see two units of these dudes just running forward 15" a turn (dunestrider ftw) and charging turn 2 to instant-kill a knight, landraider, whatever, with 6 haywire hits per combat phase (dataspike too). 170 points? Easy choice.

I feel like this list will pair well with space wolves for the Fast Attack drop pods, as well as with Knights for obvious reasons. Thinking I'll have to do at least one of each of these kits, and if I do go full fledged into the army, 4 units of 5 vanguard, 2 with plasma and 2 with arc rifles, two units of 3 walkers, with a las cannon in each, two or three units of rust stalkers in drop pods (tac squad in a pod with melta and a naked hq as well for the allies), two or three onagers with the sky fire configuration, and a knight...should be right around 1850. Will do more math after the codex is out next week - for $30, I'm going to be picking it up even if I don't plan on building the army up right away.

I'm not terribly impressed by the formations. One is 'take one of every unit' and another is "take three of the 'take one of every unit formation'".
