Whats worse is they can be taken in units of 6. 300 bones for 270 points. That's really too bad.

Yeah that makes my decision on whether or not to run Ad Mech a pretty simple one, frankly. Maybe I can convert some sentinals to stand in, for 60% the cost.

Nick, I think it all depends on your intent. We don't know how good these are in context of the rest of the book. Hell, they might TOTALLY suck. They are gorgeous models though. I'm dumb. I'd still buy one (or more) just because I love the look and I'm sure it will come with stupidly cool bitz. I guess GW has me wrapped around their finger on this one. I'm unemployed and trying to figure out what I can sell, or how quickly I can get a job, so I can buy in. I'm that excited. |

I ran into Wanderer's to get some paints... (amazing how some of my paints from the late 90s are still going strong while newer stuff is totally dried out...) and grabbed this WD. If only I didn't have a couple thousand unassembled/unpainted points each of Eldar, Necrons and Smurfs, I would clearly buy a box or two of these guys to pick up. So very cool.

The only thing holding me back beyond not having a job (I could probably trade for some) is that I need new glasses effing bad. I can't paint for $#!+ right now - no depth perception. Its killing me since I need to paint up these Broken Contract minis and I can't see what I'm doing. Lesson: Don't go 9 years between eye appointments. See also: Don't be poor.

More! Infiltrating, stealthed, close combat specialists - the Sicaran Ruststalkers and Sicaran Infiltrators:   One has dual-wielded power swords, and cause all enemy units within 6" to have -1 WS, BS, A, and I; the other's have a taser weapon that is AP5 in the first round of combat with AP2, autowound/autoglance on a 6, but on round 2 of combat they increase to AP2, with 6's still auto-wounding/glancing. $41 for a box of 5, not terrible, just depends on how many points they cost and what their rules are...if its more "100 point unit for $40" shenanigans, its going to be tough. |

Here's the official special rules for these dudes:
Sicaran Ruststalkers: FnP, Furious Charge, Bulky, dunestrider, doctrines imperative
Sicaran Infiltrators: FnP, Bulky, Dunestrider, doctrines imperative, infiltrator, stealth
They have 2 wounds each, WS4 BS4 S4 T3 (lame) I4 A2 LD8 4+ armor
And apparently one of the doctrines got leaked - it works like IG orders, and the leaked one gives the target unit +3 BS...so these guys are going to be just insane.

I'm out of my mind in love with the Omnissiah. I saw these yesterday AND saw the new Mad Max: Fury Road trailer within minutes of each other. I kind of lost my mind for a brief instant.
