I read every one of those pics, I didn't see anything mentioning imperial knights. The only mention of a haruspex, is when it says the toxicrene combines the size of a haruspex with the deadly toxins of a venomthrope...and then WD goes on to say that the toxicrene was designed for taking out MCs and Infantry, but that it can tackle vehicles in a pinch too based on the way the toxic blast attack works.

It's around the "What We Learned" section in there when they match it up to a bunch of shit to show everyone they playtest. I think it has trouble with a dreadnought and they mention the Haruspex is better suited.
Anyway, yeah, just annoyed. And full of hate. I suppose I should reel it in, not like anything's changed, except my soul.

There it is, in the red: "...it's not great at cracking open armoured targets like...Imperial Knights. Probably best to save those for specialists such as Haruspexes." Buttholes.

They make the CC Fex look like Hercules. At least it has a slim chance of hitting combat.
Although I wonder if multi-speccing a Fex may, in the end, be worth the extra points? At the end of the day, a Fex hitting combat is about our best anti-tank option right now, and Fleet is the only way to make that halfway viable.
Dakkafexen, though, are still just better, on the whole. So. Effing. Good.
What's a Dakkafex with Fleet cost? 165? For a beast that can walk around and actively function as... basically... anything... and then charge in vs heavy armor if you need it with Fleet? Yeah you're wasting points each turn, but maybe not so many that it'd be a horribly bad idea?
Someone try this. I don't have the emotional strength to pull out my Nids for a while.

Someone on Hive just mentioned taking the Tox's tentacle arms and throwing them on the Haruspex for the ultimate Hentai love machine. I can't disagree with this in any way.

Yeah, but then you'd have to take a Haruspex...and that's just a whole other thing.
And for the record, technically a haruspex can take on an Imperial Knight...its only AV13...so smashing can do some damage, or you can hope you roll well with your sweet claws...So WD is right!

I mean, S7 Armourbane with the Smash re-rolls (does Smash still confer armor pen rerolls?) should be enough, so yes, it's actually not terrible. But Carnifexes.
