So I just stumbled across this site in Australia that does their own line of vehicles and terrain that is meant for 28mm war gaming. Some of these pieces are amazing and are dirt cheap compared to FW due to them being CNC wood punch out kits. www.miniaturescenery.com/ProductsPage.asp

The 27 dollars for a dread claw alternative is great, and the tanks are great. I am considering the dune buggy as an attack bike proxy.
And yes I will be ordering some of that terrain soon myself.

Not gonna lie, some of these things look freaking sweet. I actually really like the 3D effect with their game boards, adds a lot of depth/options for sci-fi battles. Its still like $300+ for a 6x4, but gives more options than a realm of battle board.
The terrain is sweet; I can see myself investing heavily into some of the Sand Buildings or Sci Fi buildings once I have a dedicated game space in my new house.

I would rather drop 300 on a dynamic table then buy flat realm of battle tiles. Not to mention the FW ones.
