Hey all, I know there was a thread created in the Tournaments Folder, but just in case anyone hasn't seen or forgotten - There is a 1,000 Point 40K Tournament at Dice Dojo North this Sunday, October 25th. Check in is at 10AM, I believe it's $10 although I'm not sure. Your army must be bound, I'm pretty sure that's the only guideline. CAD and/or codex detachments. I know the Tournament Organizers are looking for people and they canceled the last one due to no interest, which is kind of a bummer in the grand scheme. It looks like interest is pretty low on this one too, but just in case anyone wanted to give it a shot: Here is the Facebook Event: www.facebook.com/events/679361588866793/Here is the normal Facebook Group Page: www.facebook.com/groups/198476080165133/

Not sure if I can make it, but I want in! So we can just show up at the Dojo North at 10AM Sun with $10 cash, a 1K point battleforged army, and some army lists I assume??

Who/what won this btw? And were there any Guard armies you can describe in sensual detail?

A White Scars list won. He had the Forgeworld Deredeo Pattern Dreadnought, I think three 5-6 man skilled rider bike squads with special weapons, a telepathy librarian and some drop pod grav centurions. Great list and great player.
There was one Imperial Guard Army there who did very well, but unfortunately I did not get to play him and don't know what he brought.
There were 4 Marines (Black Templars, White Scars, Dark Angels, Space Wolves), 2 Eldar, 1 Necron and 1 IG. Everyone played three games. It was really well run, organized and on time. The missions were somewhat custom - they were all played on 4x4 square boards with 6 Objective Markers and Kill Points, so game scores were very high. No cards, all markers were fair game for both armies at the end of each turn.
