Hey, I don't know if any of you saw this but they are trying to reboot the AWC (which fizzled out a year ago when the Bunker closed). I doubt I'll be making the trip from Milwaukee but some of you might want to attend. Here's the link for the specs: AWC Tournament June 14th

Oh man, I might have to do this.
It's June 14th though; the 1st is a Monday. Does that change things for your attendance Nick?

It's the first tourney, not June 1. They used to hold them every month at the battle bunker and combine scores for a yearly winner. This one is being held June 14th. The location in Buffalo Grove seems to hold regular games, they just had a 1000 point tournament 2 weeks ago.

I fixed the date. I was a fairly regular attendee starting late 2012 and running to 2014 when it fizzled out. I had a lot of fun up until the last tournamet I played in when they moved to Games Plus. That tournament was the least fun I ever had playing 40K ever, in 20 years of playing. Most of the "fun" players stayed home. It's the first tourney, not June 1.
