Saw a quip for that. Looks fun. I have space hulk if anyone wants to play, and will be tempted by this one as well.

Yeah apparently the mini game gives you a space-hulk like board, the 4 plastic assassin clampacks, a chaos terminator lord (current kit), 3 chaos space marines (current snap-fit kit), and 15 cultists (3x current DV kit). All for like $100 I think was the pricepoint. Not too shabby, all told.

Yeah, it's an eclectic mix, but a good price for those models... And then of course the game itself.
I'll probably pick it up, and then play it twice.
SRSLY guys,let's play some space hulk. I need to be inspired to finish painting those dudes.

Not twice. I had to demo that game for people when it came out since I worked for GW then. Truly one of their worst games if you are older than 12 years old. Now Gorkamorka... That was a game! |

SRSLY guys,let's play some space hulk. I need to be inspired to finish painting those dudes. I played Space Hulk on a console (can't for the life of me remember the name of it, since it doesn't exist anymore), in the dark, with headphones. One of the coolest, scariest video game experiences ever. Genestealers popping around the corner to eat your face(!) while your brother marines are all screaming for help since their faces were being eaten. Somehow I don't think the boardgame will live up to that experience... |
