Hey guys, I would like to petition your help. I've launched a mini-Kickstarter for Broken Contract and its actually going really well (I'm at 69% of my goal in the first 48 hours.) I don't want to twist anyone's arm to buy models they don't want because that's shitty. However, I am trying to build community involvement and interest in the game with this Kickstarter. So what I can use is if any of you who have done playtesting could jump on the Kickstarter, Pledge $1, and post a testimonial of your playtesting experience in the comments. Several of you have played the game so your comments would be of huge help pushing the project forward past the initial goal and into the Stretch Goals. Of course, if you want the models and want to do more... That's awesome. Also, would you guys be willing to participate in an official CST Broken Contract playtesting event? Something we could organize together during the Kickstarter at somewhere you guys are comfortable with? I'm going to do something here in Milwaukee, but getting out somewhere the I can be assured of several people turning out where I can get some photos of people playing with fully painted models while also trying some new scenarios would be absolutely stellar. I'd be traveling down from Milwaukee so a crew is a must, and you are a crew. Finally, thanks to everyone who stopped by and said "hello". I appreciate it. It was a long weekend with ups and downs, but it turned out really well in the end. You can check out the Kickstarter here: Thanks guys! -Nick

Awesome work! I saw your booth at Acon, but I was late for an event and couldn't stop to chat, but everything looked really solid. I'd love to jump on a playtesting day. How much real estate do you need? You could probably join us on a Sunday at Wanderer's, which happens the last Sunday of every month. How many people can play at a time? If you join us on one of our gamimg days, then we don't have to cap off spots or anything like that either.
Either way, I'd be down to toss some cubes at ya. Sounds great!

I am down to clown, as Jeff said a sunday at Wanderers would be the perfect setting, so a bunch of us are there to max out the playership of your game, and the rest can still play their silly 40k or what have you.

Awesome guys. I appreciate the support! The game is meant to handle up to 8 people at once, but since I've never had more than 4 at one time I'm not sure if it will bog down and suffer turn lag. I'd love to try and max it out to expose the most people at once, and see how long the turn lag is when you get that many bodies together. To even get it up to 6 people would give me a lot of insight into that.
Is the next Wanderer's day this coming Sunday then? Would you guys be down for me turning up and interrupting 40K time? Let me know.

I'm still at it guys. 12 more days to go. The core goal was to get an introductory cast of characters manufactured. With that goal out of the way I have my eyes set on a range of drones to harass the rioting/escaping Breakers. To get a bunch of them sculpted up I need to get to $3500. If you've been thinking of supporting, I'd love any help I can get. And once again, pledging $1 just to put a testimonial about your playtesting experience in the comments would be a huge plus. Or if you see one of the posts I've made on BoLS Lounge, Dakkadakka, Warseer, etc. you can bump me for free.
I'll be getting at you guys about playtesting still. By the sound of things it'll have to be after the KS, but so be it.
Thanks guys. -Nick

I'm in the last several days of the Kickstarter and could still use some love. At $3500 I'll be able to get a bunch of drones sculpted up, like the Restraint Drone pictured in this riot scene. Backing the project. Sharing it with friends. Posting the link somewhere else that you post. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks guys! -Nick

For those who didn't see, the Kickstarter was a success allowing me to manufacture ~20 different models.
This also means that 6 months from now I'll be striking again so I can publish the rule book. I'm going to be pushing hard for play testers. I hope I'll be able to wrangle some of you to that cause. Awesome.
Thanks! -Nick

Awesome dude! I saw your spot on Faeit to last week, solid man! TONS of good exposure in the community, I'm excited to see the fruits of your labors, and am 100% down to playtest.

Thanks so much Nick! And that post on Faeit was in part due to our man, Will Blood. I had sent an email to Natfka and got no action on it for days. I guess Will sent him an email too and in the final hours a post appeared! That's the value of having people get behind you. One email might slip through the cracks. A few emails come in and people might be like, "let me take a close look at this". Good stuff and props to Mr. Blood.
Also, I'm stoked you're down to playtest. I'll be in touch!
