I'm voting pure DE for flavor, but I like Eldar Allies a lot.
I've been wanting to toy with a 'seer on foot, now that they can join in the fun of open-topped transports (read, with my Archon/guard). The fancy spirit stone looks really nice, then, as a way to pay 15 points to basically cast a power for free. Not to mention adding the footprint of the Raider to any casting distance.
Unless, of course, you can't cast powers out of a fire point? Haven't looked that one up for 7th. If so, terrible idea.

Just Witchfires out of Transports. Can't cast anything else, inside or out.

Yeah that was my big mistake when playing Jeff with my harlie list - was banking on using my multiple shadowseers to cast veil of tears, shrouded, and invisibility out of their starweavers....FALSE. Can only cast witchfires. Which is just, like, absolutely terrible. Found that out on my first turn, spent the rest of the game watching Jeff shoot stuff to pieces while I ate my chips like

Yeah, I just flipped through the book and saw that one as well. Plus side, that's one less character I have to convert. I always find a way to win.
So, as far as harlies, I wonder if it'd actually be more worthwhile to run them on foot with those powers? I mean, if you get the run-and-charge formation, you're still hitting on turn 2, and with snapshots/stealth-shroud, you're pretty much more protected than a vehicle. IF you get the powers off. Hmm...
PS, I think you should consider dropping a unit of Blasterborn for a blob of Spiders. I feel that the twin-linked spam from your 'Seer(s) would benefit the nigh-20 shots from the Spiders (S7 vs vehiculars) moreso than the 4 shots from the guys who are only questionably decent at actually stripping armor anyway. Ish.
But I just really, really like warp spiders. Who knew.

Oh good call, I'll just buy, build, and paint a unit of warp spiders in the next 24 hours. THANKS JOEL YOU'RE SO HELPFUL
Plus you voted for Pure DE, meaning no farseers, so you're all over the place. You're playing it fast and loose, and the citizens of this city can't take it. Hand in your badge.

Also of note, I can exchange any ravager with nightshields for a razorwing instead. Thoughts? Pure DE with a real space raider detachment, with 2 units of scourges and 3 razorwings could be solid. Same goes for the DE/Eldar allies - 3 flyers pumping out 12 Necrotoxin missiles is nothing to sneeze at.

NVM guys, Jen switched our cake tasting to saturday so the whole draxtar tournament is a no go for me this weekend - but, I would like to start planning ahead and making the draxtar thing a monthly event for everyone - would be a lot of fun to play a bunch of ranked games throughout the year.
