Did I misread? I thought I saw harlies with A2 base, which would be about 20 attacks on the charge for 5, not 25?
Also, I think popping the Blitz is risky for anything before T5. With a 12" move stock, even T4 is "average" 14". A slight boost, and definite potential for a lot more, but a T5 18" move+charge = "Welcome to the Thunder Dome!" moment. IMHO, of course.
Glad to see a refresher on Harlies, especially since they got pulled from the DE book. Always liked the models. Playstyle? A little squishy for a 20 ppm unit (assuming you want them to have a real weapon).
Edit -
a non-confirmed source "has seen" pics of the WD, "confirming" Harly Jetbikes, with the Sky Weaver being a heavier (Vyper-esque?) vehicle. If this pans out, it may shift my opinion, especially if their bikes confer some sort of better save in the various ways of other Eldar.

2 base, plus 1 for two ccs and 1 for charging, so a unit of six with sarge get 25 attacks.

Aaaaaand, Harlequin Jetbikes. i.imgur.com/VLaLeok.jpgLooks like a shuriken cannon under one, and a haywire blaster under the other. So we're getting both eldar and dark eldar weapons on these things, which is tits. Also doesn't look too difficult to convert them from Deldar jetbikes and hellions, if they turn out to be kinda steep in cost.

They do look pretty similar to the old sculpts. But no new death jester or shadow seer? Why not a complete revamp?
But I"m pleased they finally brought solitaire back (after 10+ years). I do like the model, and like how the tail of his/her cloak is shifting from holofield back (with a hexagonal look) back into a cloak. that's pretty neat

Well Chris you're in luck- some guy at warseer says he's seen a new death jester plastic clam pack as well, and though no new shadow seer has been seen yet, I'd be shocked if they'd do everything but him/her/it in plastic.
Problem for me is, how can I not add every one of these models, as allies to my dark eldar?? It must be done

Has there been any word on how these are actually taken? As their own detachment, as allies to eldar/dark eldar, or just as an Elite choice for them?

Well so far they've just been given WD rules, as Troops and Elite (harlie troupe, solitaire respectively). And the WD calls Eldar and DE battle brothers to the harlies. So, I'd assume they're getting their own mini-dex, since we've also seen artwork that is exactly what you'd expect for codex art, and the WD says that the troupe leader can take items from the "Enigmas of the Black Library" list, which sounds an awful lot like the relic section of a codex that is yet-to-be-released.
The jetbikes are likely to be FA, come with heavy weapons and torment grenade launchers, and a variety of special CC weapons for the riders. Rumors also point to a new death jester, new shadowseer (hqs? Elites?) and obviously we still need to see the starweaver transport (could be FA or just a dedicated transport).
I'm hoping its just a digital download, and not a full blown $50 codex...but time will tell.

Rules leaks from the WD for the harlie jet bikes:
WS5 BS4 T4 W2 I6 Sv4+ 100pts, units of 2 skyweavers. May take up to 4 more. Comes with star bola and shuriken cannon as standard. Any model can replace the star bola with a zephyr glaive.
Star Bola - 12", S6 AP2 blast, one use only Zephyr Glaive - melee, s+1 AP2 on charge, S-user AP3 after first round
Any jetbike can replace the shuriken cannon with a Haywire Cannon (not haywire blaster - this is 24" S4 AP4 Haywire, blast).
Wargear: Holo-suit, mirage launchers (once per game, activated on enemy shooting turn - 4++ vs shooting)
Special rules: fear, furious charge, and hit and run.

This seems...weird. I want to see what their attack stats say (hoping for A4, since 2 harlies ride them and they have 2A each...), but it feels like they're supposed to be more combat oriented than shooting oriented.
3 of these guys would run ~150, and if you give them all Zephyr Glaives then you've got 3 Shuriken Cannons shooting followed up by 12-15 S5 AP2 I6 attacks on the charge, and 3 hammer of wrath as well (at S4 I'm guessing). Add in hit and run, and being eldar jetbikes, means you pick your targets and can make sure that you're getting those first-round bonuses from the glaive and furious charge.
I'm likely to get at least a box of them, I think all the harlequin stuff would be a really fun allied force to the dark eldar.

Don't see why they'd be better that s3. 50 each is... Not cheap. Although they do bring a mix of solid shooting and assault. My main worry with the quins in general is the survivability.

Yeah I was hoping S4 for hammer of wrath though...I was wrong. Full rules leak from WD says they're S3 A3, and its 10 points to get a zephyr glaive, 5 points to get a haywire cannon.
So 65ppm all kitted out...woof. Not for a T4 4+ save jetbike. I'd rather take a venom.
Maybe at 55ppm, grabbing two of them with haywire cannons can be decent...but not efficient. We'll have to wait and see what the Star Weaver is and does, to make a better idea overall of how the pieces work together.
Still probably get a box just to paint up. Damnit GW.

New Leaks for the transport, the star weaver. This weeks WD: imgur.com/bIuNPxEVery similar to a venom - the engines are slightly different, and the wings have a bit of an Eldary feel to them rather than the jagged lines of the DE, but its going to fit in very well. Apparently there are two builds - the transport (double shuriken cannons) or the Void Weaver, which is a heavy weapon platform with brightlances.
