Pre-emptive End Times Legion of Chaos list based off the screen shots of the book, which is released this Saturday.
3000 points - per usual in the End Times, can have up to 50% lords and 50% heroes, with a minimum 25% core, and the usual up to 50% special and 25% rare.
Lords:
Level 4 Bray Shaman - mark of nurgle, Talisman of Endurance, dispell scroll, lore of Beasts
Level 4 WoC Daemon Prince - mark of Nurgle, chaos armor, flight, scaled skin, soul feeder, charmed shield, sword of striking, dragon bane gem, lore of Death
Heroes:
Wargor - BSB, heavy armor, shield, Beast Banner, mark of nurgle
Festus the Leech Lord
Core:
5 WoC warhounds
5 WoC warhounds
18 WoC - mark of nurgle, halberds, shields, FC, banner of flame
18 WoC - mark of nurgle, halberds, shields, FC, banner of swiftness
Special:
27 Bestigor - mark of nurgle, muso, standard bearer, banner of discipline
gorbeast chariot - mark of nurgle
gorbeast chariot - mark of nurgle
Rare:
4 skullcrushers - muso, standard bearer, gleaming pennant
Total: 3037
Need to find 37 points to drop, could probably drop the magic standards from the warriors and from the skullcrushers.
Basically, the shaman and bsb go in the bestigor unit with festus - giving the unit regeneration, poisoned great weapons, and an additional +1S from the beast banner, as well as buffs from beast and nurgle magic to make them tougher and to increase their poison and regen abilities.
The warrior units are standard nurgle fare, resilient as all get out and extremely killy, and get to take advantage of their S5 attacks at I5.
Gorbeast chariots are phenomenal as always, great hammer unit to ram into the flank or to clear chaff.
Skullcrushers can bring the pain to just about anybody, another great hammer unit.
Daemon prince is the tits, hard to hit, hits like a ton of bricks, and only weakness is cannons. Idea is to get him stuck into combat on turn 1 or 2, to avoid getting blasted by war machines...or to fly down the flank and throw 6 dice at purple sun down my opponent's battle line.
All in all, should be as effective as the standard 2400 WoC nurgle list...but instead of chimeara, we have bestigors...and with the extra 600 points for a 3k list, we have the shaman, wargor, and festus.
