I'm looking to run a pathfinder game online using roll20 (its just easier that way with scheduling and what not). I was going to open it upto who ever wanted join via roll20, but I figured I'd offer it to you guys first. I know Joel had expressed interest a while back. I'd be looking to host either Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday in the evenings every other week.
The campaign is a little different then typically d20 settings. Its set in Numeria, a land of science and magic. In brief summary, take Mongolia during the Ghegis Khan add a crashed space ship and technology and you have Numeria. Its a land of savage and superstitious barbarians, alongside technology toting wizards and mad science.

Eeeeeenteresting. One (very personal) issue I have with 3.5, and maybe by extension pathfinder, is the proliferation of power builds and otherwise min-max spec'ing. Of course, in large part that's dependent on who you're gaming with. I was a 2nd ed baby, where the game was more about the story, and flexibility of the players/DM to make things fun and cool within the scope of the rules (or outside of them, if it worked for everyone).
I'd at least be interested in looking over the rules for that campaign.

As DM I also enforce a "don't ruin it for me and everyone else" policy. Basically, if anyone sets out to make an OP character, I'll just veto it. I also started out in 2nd ed, Thaco. Here is a link to the campaign. It will ask you to join roll20, its free and they don't send spam mail. app.roll20.net/join/559263/nvm0sA

Can you give me a quick breakdown of general details? Not of the campaign world, but stuff like what level you will have people start at, how big of a group you're planning to run, etc.
PS, I don't suppose there's a chance that you'd consider running 5th? Obvsies it'd be a change for you as the DM, and would take some work transferring the world to the new stuffs, but I can say I've only heard super-amazing things about the new system and have been majorly craving a chance to try it out.
I want to be a Diviner. Because - get this - Diviners are awesome. Yeah. They found a way to make *being a Diviner* an awesome thing.

I figured the group would be 4-6 people (standard game size). As for 5th, I'd rather wait for some more content before jumping onboard, although I've only heard good things about it too. I've written up this whole adventure path (levels 5-18) for pathfinder. As for characters creation rules, they are all on the campaign page. The characters are lv5 at start. The oracle in pathfinder is a pretty good divination class. They can ask yes or no questions about pretty much anything, and depending on what mysteries you take they can be good support characters or damage dealers.

On a side note, I've really enjoyed my Pathfinder experiences (that were limited to society sessions) and I'd jump at the chance to play again, but I can't really commit to anything right now. CAUSE IM SO BUSY WITH STUFF YOU GUYS

Alright, so I have everything in place. The first game is scheduled for two weeks from today, Thursday 11/06 at 6pm. The game is played every other week on Thursday. Its all done online from the comfort of your voice-enabled computer of choice, so no need to figure out a location, ect. If anyone wants in still (last I checked there were 3 seats still open) this is the link app.roll20.net/join/559263/qw5gpA
