Hey all,
A bit of a community idea that could save a bit of hassle as we make the switch over the "7th", especially as it's pretty much 6.1 (even .5 is a stretch).
As GW likes to do, they've snuck in a bunch of tiny rules changes that most of us will be surprised to fine 3 years down the line (during 8th, no doubt). So why not keep track of them, and make our own quick reference cheat sheet? We can keep a rules list, along with reference, up at the top here.
EXAMPLES!!!
Barrage no longer gives Pinning - some guy on the internet (I couldn't find barrage rules) Rapid fire weapons may always retain their full distance "kill zone" (a model 24" away can be removed as a casualty by a double-tapping bolter) Bringing a super heavy no longer gives bonus VP/seize bonus (I didn't see these rules listed in the main book - the question is whether or not the Escalation expansion is still in effect.... or if I just didn't see them).
So obvi we'd want to fact check some things and whatnot... but any minor rules changes could be brought to the forefront and save SO MUCH TIME digging through our not-so-tiny rulebooks to find answers to things we thought we knew.

One I thought was interesting, Eternal Warrior prevents the multiple wounds aspect of "D" weapons if they would double your toughness. So basically any multi-wound T5 or lower model with EW will only suffer one wound from a "D" weapon.

Because we have so many skimmers in our gaming group, its probably pretty well known...but:
Jink is constant - don't have to move first, and must declare if you're jinking before any dice are rolled to hit. Constant 4+, skilled rider adds +1, as does turbo boost.

Oooohhh I did not know Turbo-boost still added +1. Are those two cumulative, for a 2+ jink on Reavers now? That'd be siiiiick!!
But especially the "pre any dice" bit... granted people need to give their opponent a chance to declare it, but ... yeah.

Now I'm second guessing myself. I have to re-read turbo boosting, but I could have sworn it still helped for a 2+ on reavers and a 3+ on skimmies.
