As the title insinuates, I am having some technical difficulties.
In the halcyon days I painted with impunity, but now without warning I am now unable to get any paint to come out. I get a lot of air, but no paint.
I have cleaned this thing non stop and with great thoroughness to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions? I am more than willing to pack this SOB up and take it to a second location to learn more about how it works.
Make it work

It's not a gravity fed brush... Should I have one of those?

First question: what do you have?

A paasche siphon fed dual action airbrush (I want to say VT model?). It worked perfectly and I clean it obsessively after every use. About 3 days ago it started acting weird, spraying in a smaller pattern and less consistently, now it just won't spray at all. I have tried the usual methods like changing out the needle and forcing blow back. I have taken it completely apart and re-assembled it since, and it is currently soaking is a bucket of Dawn, in hopes of clearing anything out I might have missed.
It is worth noting that it will still pull airbrush cleaner, or paint that I have thinned to the point of being almost water. It just won't pull paint, and there are some, though not excessive, bubbles in the cup or siphon glass.
I have ordered a NEO CN gravity fed gun to replace it because I do not want to lose my painting momentum now that I finally have a little, but if I could fix my current brush and return the new one that would be preferable.

Maybe try a sonic cleaner? I had similar issues with my badger patriot and a friend cleaned it with a sonic cleaner and it worked just fine afterwards.

Done, I'll throw it in tonight and see if that helps!
