I remember seeing some leak a while ago. It claimed that units with X" of the workshop always got maximum shots for any weapon that used d3 or d6 to determine number of attacks

I read that too. Would be incredibly awesome if true, though from their wording here it seems like more of a repair ability.

It's probably similar to the imperial knight terrain feature - it either heals you or gives you max shots. But you have to waste a turn doing nothing to "power up" which makes it garbage.
Hopefully the ork version will be better than that, but I assume it will be similar.

Lots of info coming in at once, both official and leak wise. None of the upgrade options are worth losing all functionality for a full turn. The only one that comes close is the repair job if you have a big mek nearby, but ONLY if you're lucky enough to roll a 6 for that +1 Toughness. The fact that it specifies vehicles makes it even worse, since the unit that would benefit most from the "always hit hit max amount of shots" upgrade, lootas, can't make use of it. Garbage building for garbage orks, skip it. https://www.reddit.com/r/orks/comments/9qofxo/shiny_gunbbinz_relics_and_war_gear_by_kiriothtv/ Some interesting picks here, nothing especially terrible, but there are some standouts like Da Killa Klaw (Basically give your warlord Ghazghkull's special flat 3 Dmg klaw w/ re-rolling wounds) and Git Stoppa Shells (+1 to S, Dmg and AP, put it on a skorcha for autohitting S6 AP -2 D2 termie killing goodness.) The clan specific relics are all interesting in their own way, Deathskulls Heal 3 wounds for vehicles stands out to me, as does the Blood Axes free extra warlord trait, but the most surprisingly awesome one is the Snakebite relic. a 3D6 heavy flamer grenade that bounces to a nearby enemy unit is great for hitting characters as well as helping to clear troops away in melee. www.warhammer-community.com/2018/10/22/oct-22-clan-fokus-goffsgw-homepage-post-2/www.warhammer-community.com/2018/10/23/oct-23-clan-fokus-snakebitesgw-homepage-post-1/Not too much to say here, the leaked clan traits have been proving 100% accurate so far, which means goffs and evil sunz (maybe deathskulls) will be the best choices mechanically. More interesting are the strategems. The Tellyporta is your basic deep strike strategem, get a deff dread or a gorkanaut/morkanaut actually into melee where they belong. Skarboyz is sweet if they can live long enough, and Monster Hunters would be awesome if it wasn't a whopping 3 CP. The new psyker powers shown are also awesome, but if weirdboyz aren't able to cast more than 1, Da Jump is still likely to be the best choice if there are still no good methods to get orks up the table fast enough without depending on a 9" charge. Still some cool options though.

Yeah, the terrain feature is near identical to the knight one - and both suck. Fun maybe for open or narrative play, garbage for any kind of competitive list. The only thing I can see this being useful for is *maybe* taking a unit of dragsters and trying to buff their toughness or what have you, then fishing for 4s on their advance roll the next turn to put them where you want them anyway. Maybe.
The relics look great, I'm digging it - and the rumored kulturs (all but confirmed since the first 2 sneak peaks are identical to what was rumored) seem pretty good. I really think Orks are going to be pretty good you guys, I'm excited - I think I might pick up the codex just for fun/to read, risking being inspired to amass an ork horde that my painting bench almost certainly can't support adding to the queue.
