Hey Toss-pots!
I have been swamped at work getting everything sorted so I can take some time off and watch the World Cup and I have missed all your lovely faces penises. Obviously most of you won't care because it is a sport event being watched by adults in pubs and would take you away from your dank basements of self abuse and man-love. BUT! If you do want to watch a few games and drink a few beers I am going to be yelling racial abuse with fellow enthusiastic types at a number of soccer-friendly north-side pubs.
My deets are on the google spreadsheet thingy.
14th June - 5pm - England v Italy 16th June - 5pm - Ghana v USA 19th June - 2pm - Uruguay v England 22nd June - 5pm - USA v Portugal 24th June - 11am - Costa Rica v England 26th June - 11am - USA v Germany

What's everyone doing at 5 for USA's first game? I'm open to ideas that aren't "sitting on the couch at my apartment with my dick in my hand"

Holy fuck! we'd be lucky to make it out of our group!
But otherwise, yes! Drinks and world cup sounds good. Who wants to watch Eng vs Uruguay on Thurs? Text me, as I respond slowly to forum chat :-p

Bloody Hell America?!?! I see you guys managed to pull a corker out of the bag.
England Uruguay is Thursday, but the kick off is something like 2pm. So I will naturally be spending the afternoon "working from home" then ;-)

Since USA won, it's now officially called soccer. No, it doesn't matter that there are games left.

Oh, I see, one win and you eying the Portugal game like you have a hope!
If anyone is watching the Uruguay game at a pub then let me know. Otherwise I am going to AJ Hudson's or the Globe or similar.
And shame on you Chris! You have gone all "Dancing with Wolves". All times must be kept in GMT so as not to offer aid and comfort to the enemy. Your "something like 2pm" should read 19.00 GMT.

The G stands for Greenwich Connecticut.
Also, with 2 injuries and a red card for Pepe, I think the US absolutely has a hope! Hell, with Germany more than likely to beat Ghana, they might even take it easy on us knowing they will win the group, and we might only lose by 1 or 2, giving us the differential advantage over Portugal. Round 2 here we come!!
