I like how the giant Seraphim Sepia bottle is posing as a stand-in amongst Clegane's men.
Great work! Satisfying little warband, there. Are there more for this crew, or are you on to another House?

Did you really paint all three Gregors Clegane? I really did. You never know which psychopathic giant you will need. Other than Sandor, that is all of House Clegane’s toys from this set, so I will work on different houses going forward, although I think I’m going to put much more effort into my death guard next.

Cj these look fantastic! I love the yellow - what's your recipe? This is the first group of mountain's men I've seen with the yellow as well, it looks amazing and really helps them pop instead of painting them all in leathers like everyone else online. I'm going to steal that idea, hope you don't mind!

I'm going to steal that idea, hope you don't mind! Do it! Let me get back to you on the recipe. I know I sprayed them one of the vallejo yellows, then did some layering with more spray and then actual brushing, but i can't remember which colors specifically I used. There was a lot of "welp, lets see if this works!"

Yeah that's what I'm basically doing with my starks - just finding out what works and what doesn't as I go, and forgetting to write it down, so I'm sure each of my units will end up slightly different but that'll be part of the fun.
Are you washing the yellow with a brown wash like Agrax or Strong Tone? Or more of a mid-brown like Sepia? Or did you start with a brown base highlighting up to yellow?

I started by spraying yellow as a basecoat (I want to say that was over a black spray, but I can't remember, it might have been white), and I washed with agrax, but only in the recesses. From there I did some layering up with various yellows and decided that the models in this game will be dirty and filthy, so I didn't want a super sharp yellow, so I didn't try too hard. After I got the yellow to a point I was ok with I taped over it and sprayed the metal colors on. After getting that to where I was ok with it I pulled off the tape and touched up the yellow. After that was details and I called it done. I'll post a photo of the various yellows I used when I get home after work.

For Nick, these are the various colors used to make the yellow cloth.

I've not used any game air paints yet - I hear they're solid, I should pick some up next time I'm at the dojo. Thanks CJ!
