Hey guys!
This is a bit of a long shot, but I wanted to see if anyone had bits they would be willing to part with that would be useful for making an Armiger look more Chaosy. I think that Lord of Skulls, Maulerfiends, Forgefiends, Defilers, etc. all have really great bits to turn an Armiger to the will of Chaos. I will be looking to magnetize the arms so I can use it as Helverin or a Warglaive, so melee and ranged weapons are game.
If there is something outside of those models BUT still fits what I need, totally up for talking about it. I can trade with bits or cash. I have a fair amount of Tyranid bits.

That is awesome! I will be getting the Helverin box, so I am mostly looking for really good replacements for the Thermal Lance and the Chain Cleaver.
I am not sure EXACTLY what specific bits I am looking for, but here is my checklist of big thoughts.
- Anything that can be used as an alternate head/augment the faceplate. I can carve up the default one, but I'd like something different.
- Lord of Skulls Cleaver could be a cool alternate version of the Chain Cleaver, but open to any chain-like/savage/gigantic Chaos melee weapons.
- Pointy chaos banners to put on top of it.
- Chaos looking stuff to mount on it (spikes, sigils, etc.)
- Something that could possibly look like a Chaos-ified Thermal Lance.
I will be running it in a Black Legion army if that helps you at all.

I have a couple faceplate options, but they might be a smidge big. How would you feel about more of a daemonic head for a faceplate? I'm sure I have at least a juggernaut head or possibly a forgefiend face.
The cleaver would be way too big for an armiger, and I already have used mine on my khorne knight. When it's done I'll have to post photos. How would you feel about the whiplike appendages from the maulerfiend kit as an alternative close combat weapon? I've seen some good conversions using those.
I have more spikes and chains than can ever be used by the entire imperium.
I may have an extra arm for a forgefiend, let me get back to you.

OOooh I like all these custom armiger bits! cj I would be SO down for whiplike appendages and just calling it a chain cleaver. All the spikes I am defs up for. I might order the faceplaate from that website that doubleback linked |
