Castellan rocks in at 604, valiant is 583, those are some big boys!
The warglaive is 164 with stubber, 177 with meltagun, so the two armigers are comparable and a hell of a lot cheaper than the 227 base cost from the forgebane book!
I'm stoked for the new rules, though I wish there was more than 1 shooting trait. Everything is focused towards rerolling hits or wounds or causing MWs in combat...and I just want to reroll hits or wounds in shooting with at least 1 trait come on now.
There's one that let's you reroll hits if you shoot the closest unit but meh

True but honestly if knights get space marines re-rolls I think they be a little too strong. I think just having one trait for re-roll hits is good enough. Besides knights are meant to shoot and Smash so having the a lot more traits to get into cc makes sense. Also knights having a either a 4++ save (or 3++ with stragram) or a 2 armor save with relics makes them a hella more survivable. Knights don't seem the most competitive with this codex release but at least they are a LOT more playable against lists that do have a lot of heavy weaponry that would normally take them down.
