Here is the final on my Black Legion Armiger for now!

DUDE that is fantastic!! I'd suggest getting more coverage on the base with some ground cover or rubble or even just puddles of blood and pus, whatever suits you - but other than that this is looking awesome.

And Hive Fleet Gorgon got some love recently with the addition of a much needed HQ choice! I added a Malanthrope to my army. HOLY SHIT I hate resin It is the worst, but I do love this guy. I am going to add some marks to the carapace to match the rest of my Hive Fleet and tighten up some edges, but he is 90% done. And here is the detail shot on his guts

They look superb. I particularly like the armiger. I'm with Nick on the addition of more stuff on the base, and was thinking that if there was a pool of blood surrounding the guardsman that would really add to it.

I like the blood from the guardsmen idea. Probably use that rock covering for the rest of it. Thanks for the notes!

FINALLY got around to working more on my Geneskaven Cult kitbashes. Really happy with the radioactive color tone this time around, will probably keep it like that. Matches with the lore of the cult growing in the sewage dumps and sumps of various hive cities and suffering abnormal mutations, ergo the ratmen. Here they all are with their other brethren. And here are some close ups

Loving that armiger! I ended up making mine a "Decimator" to skirt the lack of rules. Are you playing yours any different as hell-forged?

Nope! Just running mine as an Armiger from the Questor Traitorus Index. I've tried both armiger types and haven't decided which one I like more (leaning towards Helverin).
I really prefer the whip arm though

I might take your route for the second one. Decimators are nice with the soul burner, but I hear very good things about armigers

4d3 shots S7 -1 AP D 3
As long as you have some melee interference for your army (I run a bunch of Chaos Spawn), they can put out some PAIN

I've got zombies and nurglings for days. I've also been playing with the idea of adding either plague bearers or possessed.
So far the soul burner on the Decimator has been a nice source of mortal wounds, but that's a lot of dakka on the armiger....

And the aberrants join my growing cult! That brings me to 4 with picks and claws, 4 with hammers, hypermorph with improvised heavy weapon and the Abominant. Basing is WIP

I got two 5-man squads of Rubric Marines for my Black Legion. They are a welcome addition but this is WAY more detail than I am used to. Black Legion Rubric Marines are not Thousand Sons, so I don't get the psyker benefits, but All is Dust and warp weapons are just as juicy. One squad down, the other waiting in the background

I got one of these tentacle boys (Toxicrene) because they look cool, they are fluff friendly with my Hive Fleet, and the rules actually are not that bad at all! This is very WIP, but I am staring at the carapace and wondering how to make it stand out. I am going to put brown speckles right along the edge of the carapace shells, but I think a wash would really bring out the details. Anyone know what wash to use for very bright colors like that off-white/tan I am using?
