The cutoff date for BitS is May 19th for list submission - so if I don't have a good chunk of my Woodies done (or even in hand by then), I want to make sure I at least have my Warriors of Chaos list finalized for the event so I don't miss out.
Here's what I have in the list so far - I've got 115 points to spare; what would you guys change or add, and for those of you who have played WHFB tournies before (adepticon or otherwise), what do you think I need to be ready for in the Meta?
Lord:
Nurgle Demon Prince, duh - chaos armor, wings, lvl 4 of death, scaled skin, soul feeder, charmed shield, sword of striking, dragonbane gem
standard demon prince loadout - fast, flying, tough to hit, easy to hit with, 1+ armor, 2++ vs metal magic, 2+ to ignore first cannonball. Death has low casting values and a lot of utility taking out characters/warmachines, so should be able to wreck havoc with it - ideally throwing purple sun down my opponents flank on turn 1...
Heroes:
Tzeentch BSB on disc - talisman of preservation, enchanted shield, great weapon, third eye of tzeentch, burning body
mini-disco lord; has a 1+ against shooting, 3+ in combat, and a 3++ with re-rolling 1s. is flying cav, so can be "johnny on the spot" when and where I need re-rolls for leadership (ie, near my chimearas) or can flee unfavorable combats. S7 flaming attacks, to dominate hydras, aboms, and chimearas.
Core:
Nurgle Chariot x2
hard hitting, tough to kill, run them in tandom to protect a flank. can work chaff duty, or slam into an opponents flank in a pinch for extra combat res. needs to watch out for metal magic and cannons.
5 Warhounds x2
chaff, just there to distract, charge block, and draw opponents out of line so I can hit their flanks with killy stuff. and 2 drops so I don't have to show my opponent my cards right off the bat
18 Tzeentch Chaos Warriors - muso, standard, standard of discipline, hw/shields
tough as nails core - 3+ save, 6++ vs shooting, 5++ in combat. LD 9 since the demon isn't going to be sharing any of his inspiring presence in all likelihood. Big time anvil.
Special:
Chimeara x2 - regenerate, flaming breath
take pressure off of my demon - if one of them eats a cannon instead of the prince, I win. These guys can delete war machines, add valuable combat res to critical combats with flame attack and thunderstomp, and can also run duty as chaff killers and redirectors once war machines are taken care of.
Rare:
4 Skullcrushers - lances, muso, standard, gleaming penant
excellent hammer unit - tough as nails with a 1+ save, 3 wounds each at T4. Relatively fast, if a little hard to meneuvre being 200mm wide, and hit like a ton of bricks. Gleaming penant to prevent that first failed frenzy test, idea is to take them up the flank and have them hit alongside my chariots and demon prince to punish a unit in the first round of combat.
What are your thoughts? I could take out the soul-stealer on my demon and get another chariot of nurgle, or I can drop the 4th skullcrusher, soul-stealer, flaming breath on my chimearas, and the gleaming pennant in favor of 2 units of 3 skullcrushers with lances. With the BSB on a disc, I can babysit them all day if I need to.
