How did you do those lenses on your Lascannon Devastators? Is that the goopy soulstone technical paint from GW?

This marks two things: 1) The final tactical squad to be painted in my Ultramarines build. 2) This puts me to 6000 points of painted Ultramarines. imgur.com/gallery/jBNolhq

Nice. How long did it take you to paint all 6000 points?

Nice. How long did it take you to paint all 6000 points? In Totoal disregarding pauses because of work or life events maybe 6 months.

Great job! LOVE IT!
Are there plans for transports for all these squads? (Trust me that decision will quite literally take up the last of your storage space, and free time for the year).
Would be great to see it all in one large massive game!

Great job! LOVE IT! Are there plans for transports for all these squads? (Trust me that decision will quite literally take up the last of your storage space, and free time for the year). Would be great to see it all in one large massive game! No transports for the first company of the Veteran Company as most teleport in with the exception of the Sternguard which will have Drop Pods. Still deciding what I want to do with the 2nd company of vanilla marines, I may do rhinos for the Tactical squads and the command squads but not for the devastators or the assault squads. As for the 3rd Company Primaris company...I'm going to get a couple of the Repulsors but to get a Repulsor for each squad...that's ludicrously expensive and unwarranted as that would be over 1000 USD just for transports.

Tyler this is an amazing feat dude, I just want to say kudos. To not only decide to do 3 companies but actually hit each milestone in this quick a fashion is nothing short of inspiring!

Yes, doing a company becomes much less fun, when you decide to do all the transports! My old Ultramarine project, I did 8 rhinos and a razorback for the battle company, and then 4 or 5 landraiders, 1 stormraven and 3 drop pods for the veteran company.
My current Salamanders project consists of a total of 6 rhino/razorbacks, 6 drop pods and 2 land raiders.
It is serious extra effort when you get round to it. But like the churning out of troops, one learns how to make the process more efficient, which steps really count and which can be side tracked.
Either way, kudos to you good sir, and well done!
Also, have you thought of a good centre piece model to the army? Like Gulliman, a titan, thunderhawk, etc.?
