You can assault them with seraphim now, so that can be fun. I plan on taking some shrikes to choppy choppy some lighter aircraft, its gon' be fun.

I have a question on that is it just having the fly keyword that gives u the ability to ignore the hit penalty and that's for both shooting and melee right.

The only thing the FLY Keyword does per the core rules is let you fall back and still shooot. It also lets you move over models. Anything else it does is defined on the dataslates for a flyer, or the unit with FLY.

So, the newest book about post 7th 40k "Dark Imperium" by Guy Haley had some spoilers about the new Primaris Models we might see in the future. They list several units we have already seen for Primaris Marines; Captain, Lieutenant, Ancient, Intercessors, Inceptors, Hellblasters, Redemptor Dreadnoughts, Repulsor Tanks, but there were also some units we have't seen model for yet.
Reivers - A Reiver Squad is a close combat Primaris Space Marine unit, that wears skull faced helms and is equipped with silent power armour, that has been adapted for stealth work. They wield combat knives, power swords and heavy bolt pistols and have had their left pauldrons enlarged, in order to provide them with better protection in melee combat.
Aggressors - An Aggressor Squad is a Primaris Space Marine unit, that is equipped with shoulder mounted missile racks, that are reloaded from internal armour stores located within the Agressors' Gravis power armour. They also wield Flame Gauntlets, that billow forth burning promethium.
Overlord Aircraft - A thunderhawk equivalent armed with anti-munitions cannons, wing-mounted Desolator Lascannons, nose-mounted Melta Cannons and Heavy Bolters fixed on its lower wing surfaces. The vehicle can carry upto 40 Primaris Marines and has a projected force-field to protect it from enemy fire.
Sounds like some very interesting kits might be on the horizon.

Not to mention it talks about cawl going a little nutty and making primaris marines out of the lost legions II and XI as well as the 9 traitor geneseesa, and doing so successfully. Robby G is not feeling it and tells him to stop it, but the fact remains it's possible to do...
So my loyal thousand sons primaris army is a reality. Thanks gw.

I found something weird in the space marine index. Grenade harnesses (cataphractii and tartaros) are AP1. Does that mean that they add 1 to the armor save on enemy units??? That's the only weapon I've seen that has a positive AP

I think that's got to be a typo - has to be -1, otherwise it would be 0

Just to verify I'm not missing something, in the leaked rules I've looked at, I don't see a requirement that a unit charge the unit it shot at in the shooting phase. Has that rule been done away with or did I just overlook it somewhere?

CJ you are correct - you do not have to charge the unit you shot at. Especially since every model in a unit can shoot at a different unit, if you want them to.
Also everyone can charge after firing - even heavy and rapid fire.
Assault weapons get to fire even if you advanced (run), which is great.
