stupid question:
"Q: Does the mutation from the Possessed’s Vessels of Chaos special rule last until the end of the game turn or player turn? A: Until the end of the player turn."
So if i play crimson slaughter, and I roll for shrouded then my models lose shrouded at the end of my turn? Maybe I'm remembering the CS wrong and how they possessed work, and I don't have the book in front of me...but doesn't this negate their effect?

At least regarding the two armies I play, they cleared up the biggest conundrums. - You can't take a Chapter Master in a Demi-Company
- Drop Pod doors are ignored for all game purposes (good call GW)
- The Primus in a Sub. Assault formation must be from the formation to get the 3d6
- Units arriving from cult ambush count as having moved after turn 1.
- Servo Skulls only affect turn 1 cult ambush.
- Interceptor affects Cult Ambush unit after turn 1.
- Units that cult ambush can move on turn 1.
All in all, I'm pleased with the rulings.

Yeah, those rulings make the most sense, I'm really glad they're clearing these things up - and using the community feedback to do so. Very very pleased.

They have a different rule all together called "Slaves to the Voices". Here is the quote from their supplement: "Possessed units in a Crimson Slaughter Detachment or Formation do not have the Vessels of Chaos special rule from Codex: Chaos Space Marines. Instead, roll a D3 on the table below at the beginning of each controlling player’s turn. The mutation affects every Possessed model in the unit and lasts until the start of the controlling player’s next turn."

Also of note: - Spore mines - can run or charge after being placed by a biovore shooting attack
- Can target models in combat with a mawloc deep strike, and on invisible units
- Termagants spawned from a tervigon get objective secured, as long as the detachment gives obsec. Even an HQ tervigon!
- Canoptek Wraiths ignore all terrain during all phases, including the initiative penalty for charging through terrain (HUGE)
- Deathmarks can still wound GMCs on 2+ the turn they arrive, even though normally snipers only wound them on a 6
- Reanimation Protocols take precedent over things like hellfrost or stasis bombs
- Shadow fields DO fail even if a FNP roll saves the wound
- webway portal DOES work for vehicles deep striking if the bearer is embarked
- its official - court of the archon on its own DOES count as an HQ
- Kabbalite Trueborn count as Kabbalite Warriors for all rules that affect them (formations/detachments as well)
- Farseers joined to the same unit cannot manifest the same powers, toning down (slightly) the seer-star, which is good

Here's what caught my eye in Tau: Range doesn't matter with supporting fire (buddy overwatch), but LOS does matter Player has to declare jink before marklerights usage is declared "Markerlights are not affected by void shields" Seeker missile against zooming flyer is a snapshot Tank Shock kills anchored storm surge Riptides can't fire other weapons after nova-charged ion accelerator Suits can fire two weapons in overwatch Homing Beacons don't work in devilfish

Still confused about one ruling for the Dark Angels "Q: In a Deathwing Command Squad, does a Deathwing Terminator who is upgraded to the Deathwing Apothecary lose any equipment other than his power fist? Similarly, what happens when a Ravenwing Black Knight in a Ravenwing Command Squad is upgraded to the Ravenwing Apothecary? A: A Deathwing Terminator upgraded to the Deathwing Apothecary replaces his power fist with a narthecium. He may not take any other options. A Ravenwing Black Knight may be upgraded to the Ravenwing Apothecary, taking a narthecium. He may not take any other options."
Does this mean that in a RW command squad, the apothecary no longer has the corvus hammer? If this is the case, then would the standard bearer also lose the corvus hammer? Or does it just mean that you can't have the apothecary also upgrade to the RW grenade launcher? I assume that it means the former, though I think I've been playing it wrong.

It specifically says the Terminator loses his Power Fist for his Narthecium. It then specifically "doesn't" say the Biker loses anything for his Narthecium. I would interpret that as the biker keeps everything that comes stock on him, which includes the Corvus Hammer. I don't see how it could be interpreted any other way. Being on a bike does change your ability to carry weapons or items, so it seems like maybe because of the bike he can use both. Seems like a GW justification. Notice the points cost is so drastically different for the two as well, which would reflect the weapon access.

The Deathwatch FAQ corrected the confusion over whether Boltguns and DW Shotguns could both be run on a vet for free. Tis a sad thing they can't.
