Does GW still give replacements for warped finecast? And is that only if you bought directly from them? My buddy got some stuff as a gift and it's pretty warped, bent and broken. But I think it was bought from ebay or something.

You can try if it came in a GW box, that is the only way in my experience. They ask for the code on the box when you send in a ticket.

Yeah, just the GW box. If it was new in the box he just needs to send an email to customer care. They've replaced models for me in the past.

GW, for all its various faults, has generally amazing customer service when it comes to models. I had purchased an original blister of metal hormagaunts to use as mutants back in 3rd edition - this was probably a few years after they'd been discontinued, mind you... and since I had bought them (on eBay) still in the blister, I was able to get replacement parts for some mis-formed bits.
That is to say, getting a replacement for still-in-production models will be a snap.
