First game was vs Fergus and Jeremy, so pretty brutal lol they stomped us by turn...4? I think it was. They got max points. Second game was a ton of fun - two other guys who are newish to 9th age, playing wood elves and vampires. Close game until the very end - poor rolling on our end, great rolling on their end, and they ended up with a 600 point victory. Third game was fun too - older guys, playing bretonians and high elves. Really back and forth for a couple of turns, but Russell and I quickly turned the tide in combat and with a couple great magic turns. Ended up with max points. |

oh I think you guys left early. When they were giving out awards they gave out a prize to team hotdog if it was you two.

Nah, we were there - team hotdog was the 2 guys we played in our 2nd game; they left early to go hit the bar lol we proudly came in 3rd last, not dead last, so no dice for us!

PS I came in 25th out of 96 in the 40k friendly, even with getting 0 points in my first game. Even got 6/10 painting score...what could have been!

Even got 6/10 painting score Holy shit I had no idea they valued drybrushing so highly. It was the dimachaeron and exocrine conversions that really pulled it back for me. If they had color on their carapace at all, would have been a smooth 10/10. Probably. Guys I'm a pro painter. |
