Hey guys,
Wanted to show an update on my latest big project. This has been a labor of love, really! I've always liked the Imperial Knights ever since I got into 40k (8 long months ago), and it was just a matter of time before I splurged on one. So, I put him together back in December, and then started painting in the end of January. Yesterday, finally glued the armor panels on and I'm really happy with the results!
Anyway, he's not done yet, I have some small highlights to do here and there, and eventually I suppose I have to mess with decals. But, since he's table top ready (I think),I thought I'd post some pictures. I took bunches, but don't want to bore with a flip book. So here's a few pics of the work in progress and the (almost) finished product. Let me know what yall think!

Isn't yours also House Terryn?
If so, they will not be punching, because they're friends.
Your Manticore is a different story. They are not friends.

Badass! I still need to paint my knight. They seem to be an auto-include now in many lists.

Well, they are a lot of points, especially my Knight Crusader, pictured above. But, they are a lot of fun to play with and can pack a lot of pain!
Anyway, not sure if they're an auto-include or not. If you're talking an 1850 game, certainly they become feasible to fit in. Less than that and you're not going to have much else on the field.
But I like them. :-) In fact, I want to get another knight so I can have the option to field a slightly cheaper variation if I can't fit in the Crusader. Also, he was a lot of fun to paint and I'd love to paint another one!

I love the knights, they look amazing & can be disgusting in melee. From what I can tell your painting seems top notch, so I am excited to see it in person

Thank you sir. I've only been painting since about September, so I am definitely a newbie. But, I liked how the knight turned out! To be honest, it wasn't that bad to paint since the surface areas are so large. Just took a long time. Anyway, I'll be sure to bring it with the next time I head to the dojo!
