I'm sure most of you have seen this on your respective underbelly of the internet favorite websites, but in case you haven't, I am bored and feel like sharing.
Obviously these are getting their own rules with the Box Game they come in, but these are the 40K transferable rules.
Apparently, both the Deathwatch and the Genestealer Cults are 'New Factions' for the purposes of allies and such.

Deathwatch is interesting and thanks for uploading the stat blocks. I'm tempted to get the set, but need to dig a little more into it.

So this is old, and almost worth a new thread, but was anyone else surprised at the price tag on this thing? The apparent rumor was clocking in at $160, already a hefty bit over the usual "GW Game" mark... but this set... woof. At $160 I would probably still have picked it up, because how can I say no to a GS Cult, plus the Deathwatch team would probably have rounded out my Assassins for the ultimate elite 1k force of ultimacy... but at around twice that? I'm gonna have to hope it goes on sale at the FLGS... by a lot. Poopballs...

Yeah I went to dojo to pick it up but saw the tag and walked right out. Don't mind buying it but don't know many people Who want the gene cult. I just want the death watch.

I'm picking up a copy on Tuesday. The cost is really a bargain. The 11 Deathwatch minis will likely be repackaged at some point for $25 a piece; that's a $275 value and you haven't even taken into account the 50 Genestealer models.
