Alright, so I've narrowed down option #2 for my second army to a Ordo Malleus list to play opposite thematically to my Khorne Daemonkin. The list I have in mind is as follows:
++ Inquisitorial Detachment (Primary Detachment)++
+ HQ +
Ordo Malleus Inquisitor (Warlord) [Grimoire of True Names, Psyker (Mastery Level 1), 3x Servo Skulls, Terminator Armour, Nemesis Daemon hammer, Storm Bolter, Empyrean Brain Mines]
The inquisitor is by no means a match for most other HQs in CC, his biggest support abilities come from his servo skulls, and the grimoire. While in CC with a daemon he reduces their WS, Initiative, and Leadership by 5 making him a real threat to any daemons. The servo skulls prevent infiltrating and scouting withing 12" inches, providing the army some protection from fast threats like hounds and war walkers. Additionally the skulls reduce DS and Blast weapon scatter rolls by 1d6 allowing my Scions and Valkyries to be more accurate.

Inquisitorial Henchmen Warband [4x Crusader (Power Sword, Storm Shield), 6x Death Cult Assassin (Two-Power Swords), 2x Ministorum Priest (Chainsword, Laspistol, Meltagun), Land Raider Crusader (Dozer Blade, Extra Armor, Multimelta, Psybolt Ammunition)
This is the unit the list was built around. Using the priests' war hymns ability the unit re-rolls failed to-hits, to wounds, and failed saving throws. The land raider is capable of dishing out a ton of fire power, and utilizing the machine spirit I can fire the Multi-Melta at armor while the Anti-Infantry weapons can find a suitable target.
++ Combined Arms Detachment - Militarum Tempestus ++

Tempestus Command Squad [4x Tempestus Scion (Meltagun), Tempestor Prime (Close Combat Weapon, Hot-shot Laspistol)]
The command squad can issue some helpful orders to improve the Tempestus units, but its main purpose is to DS in and take out Heavy Armor like Knight Titans or Land Raiders with its four meltaguns.

Tempestus Scions [2x Tempestus Scion, 2x Tempestus Scion (Meltagun), Tempestor (Close Combat Weapon, Hot-shot Laspistol)]
Tempestus Scions [2x Tempestus Scion, 2x Tempestus Scion (Meltagun), Tempestor (Close Combat Weapon, Hot-shot Laspistol)]
Tempestus Scions [2x Tempestus Scion, 2x Tempestus Scion (Plasma gun), Tempestor (Close Combat Weapon, Hot-shot Laspistol)]
Tempestus Scions [2x Tempestus Scion, 2x Tempestus Scion (Plasma gun), Tempestor (Close Combat Weapon, Hot-shot Laspistol)]
These units DS in to use their two meltaguns/plasma guns to take out dug-in targets and grab objectives. The move through cover special rule coupled with the scatter reduction of a servo skull makes these guys pretty reliable on the DS.

Valkyrie Squadron [1x Valkyrie (2x Multiple Rocket Pods, 2x Sponson-mounted Heavy Bolters, Multi-laser)]

Valkyrie Squadron [1x Valkyrie (2x Multiple Rocket Pods, 2x Sponson-mounted Heavy Bolters, Multi-laser)]
With two Str 4 AP - large blasts, 6 Str 5 AP 4 shots, and 3 Str 6 AP 6 Shots each the valkyries excel at eliminating blob targets and are capable of damaging elite infantry with wound saturation.
++ Officio Assassinorum Detachment #1 ++

Callidus Assassin
The Callidus can infiltrate within 1" of an opponent, and is armed with a really nasty template weapon that wounds on a 4+ regardless of toughness and is AP 2. Like all assassins she is really deadly in close combat, and has a variety of close combat weapons to choose from. Additionally on the first turn of the game she can only be fired at with snap shots.

Vindicare Assassin
This guy is the king of snipers. With his special ammos, ability to ignore cover, and precision shots he can reliably kill anything on the board.
As normal, let me know what you guys think. I have some concerns, but the community normally points out issues with the lists I don't notice. I'd particularly like to hear how you guys think it compares to the Raptors GSF I had posted before; does it seem like something that would be more fun to play against/with?
