But this is a common theme with regard to the disgust of the imperium - when Greyfax was released from Trazyn's menagerie she was all "wtf are you doing worshiping the emperor and talking to xenos you rubes". I'm willing to bet Roboute does the same thing, and agrees to take Cypher to terra so he can A) kill abaddon and end the crusade and B) smack the shit out of the high lords, unplug the emperor, and take his place as the ruler of the imperium. I completely agree with this. And I think this opens up a lot of cool story potential. As you said, I fully expect Roboute will be less than happy about the current state of the Imperium, and if he makes a move to unplug Emps (for whatever reason), it's understandable that other loyalist Primarchs (assuming more show up) could take exception to it. So you could really see a splintering of the Imperium factions. Very cool story potential here. And as for the model, I really want to see more of it to get a good feel for it. But, just my quick first impression, I think I like it more than the FW Guilliman. The FW Guilliman is a very static pose in my opinion. He looks like a statue of himself. I like the more dynamic Primarchs like Ferrus Manus or Fulgrim or Leman Russ. But, we'll see. Very cool stuff!

Awesome! Well, I still like his model, although I will admit it's pretty busy. However, cool that it's helmeted. Or at least, as an option to be helmeted. Sorry, dumb question but who is the 3rd model, for Titan?

Also, for people who are wondering why his armor got super fancy since the heresy, I offer a historical reason. First, Guiliman was interned as a Saint in a shrine on Maccrage after he was put in stasis. Secondly, 40k is based heavily off of medievel and pre-elightenment historical themes. During the medieval period many Saint were placed into elaborately decorated coffins or in some cases armor. Man Imperial citizens made pilgrimages to the Shrine of Guilliman on Maccrage, so the garish armor is likely the doing of the ecclesiarchy.

Not only that, but the grieves on his legs actually do match pretty closely the grieves on the FW model - and the chest armor is similar....but just has a couple extra details swirling around it. I feel like most of why the model is jarring is because the head sits up so high...I'd rather shave it down and have it just a *little* sunken in, like the other marine heads are, so his proportions actually look realistic(ish).

Also looks like Cypher has a volkite serpenta instead of a plasma pistol

I really like that Grey Knight model. They're all sweet, but that one is my favorite.

I really like the helmet option, I think it's super dope that they did that.
If I was a Chaos player, I couldn't help but be a little salty though. Triumverate of the Imperium ...and of the aEldari ...and also for the Imperium again but space marine imperium this time
I guess they did just get some super justice with Traitor Legions, and who knows what the rest of the year will bring.

I agree with you. I was actually just thinking about that point the other day. I bought and enjoyed the Fall of Cadia book. Also, enjoyed all the Imperial formations in it, and Imperial goodies. But upon reflection, I was surprised they didn't have Chaos love in there. Some kind of Chaos version of Castellans of the Imperium formation or something.
