A rare Deathwatch Necron. Or just a regular Deathwatch. But I'll be getting back to the teal and gold next.

Aw shit. What's this model from? And I may have already asked this before, but why do you paint your bases red?

Aw shit. What's this model from? And I may have already asked this before, but why do you paint your bases red? It's a Deathwatch Watch Master, basically a Chapter Master equivalent. I got the big Deathwatch battleforce box late last year and he came with it. I try to paint my bases a color that matches something in the model, I just happen to have used a lot of Khorne red in this one and the inquisitor, so that's what I decided to go with. And I'll probably end up using that color for the other Deathwatch I paint, after I get where I want to be with the Necrons. So 2018.

My only criticism - the -I- on his grieves lacks depth, maybe throw a wash in there to shade it a little more; and it looks like you got some grey on his weapon hilt from painting the base. But this dude is dope, I love the blade and the skin tone

But this dude is dope, I love the blade and the skin tone Gah! I did get some paint on the hilt, thanks for pointing that out. I tried to add some diluted glaze in the -I- but it doesn't show up as well as I'd have hoped.

I haven't been using them for a while. They do make a copper though, which looks really nice.
