I just love when they bring back crazy, super awkward rules for seemingly no reason. I'd love to see blue horrors pop out of pink horrors in a game (so long as brimstone horrors aren't immune to flamers, I'd be down with them popping out too). I love the rule too, or the idea of it. I wish that the new horrors just joined the existing unit though. I still feel like that would be insanely powerful since it happens at the end of the phase. Or, at worst, they could only form 1 new unit maximum per unit of pink horrors and same with blue horrors. Would it not still be very good if you just shot up a unit of 10 Pink Horrors and then at the end of the phase were looking at a unit of 14 horrors instead?

The BeastBirdmans are good. WS4 T4 with a 6++ 7 points per model They have a little formation that gives them fleet and the ability to run and charge. It also gives them +1 S and +1 I on a charge over 9" oh damn, really? i can't find that formation again, but I thought you had to have like 9 units of gors for that bonus to apply. either way, i'm round basing my BEASTMANS for a triumphant return to 40k.

The formation requires a Sorcerer and three units of Gors, right? Then an optional 0-9 units of gors or ... spawns I think?

So I didn't think it was going to be that bad. I thought, oh, T2 horrors, who cares. And then I saw this: Yeah I figured it would be bad, but seeing a live demo of it... that is Terrifying. Although I would argue it would produce Ob. Sec. blue horrors and brimfire horrors, but I only would say this because of the nids thing of mjig (the one that spawns guants) if taken as a troop produces the guants as ob sec. Again though this is assuming that the same concept applies here, but again... Pink horrors do NOT NEED THIS MUCH POWER!!! P.S: TFG Radio Love those guys! Listen to them every week.

So, amazingly, Wrath of Magnus got FAQ'd from GW already...making it the fastest FAQ probably ever from a GW book and of course all about Horrors. They confirmed that: 1) a new unit that spawns must wholly be within 6" of the Pink Horror Unit (so no conga lining) and if you cannot fully place any models within 6, you do not get those models (they are destroyed and do no split themselves) 2) the new units are not ObSec even if the Pink Horrors were 3) horrors do not have access to malefic daemonology any longer and therefore cannot summon - both bought and split horrors. If you are referring to the chaos daemons specific one then yes. It's the fourth power to summon more flamers of tzeentch or a burning chariot or just a Herald of tzeentch without chariot. But that Herald is unable to cast psychic powers.

But then again I'm play Tau so my Psychic phase is over before I even start it.
